Im going to buy some apex lowering springs tomorrow lower my a3 sport (sportback) tdi.

I was told if i lower more than 15mm i will need adjustable tie arms for the rear........do i or dont i ?

also will i get negative camber if i lower by using 30 or 40mm springs..any info would be of great help.

p.s im running now on 7.5j x 18 et54 genuine s-line (A3) wheels

load of tosh!

The rear camber on the a3 is adjustable anyway.

lowered my car 30mm (se) and had everything laser checked and all was fine :p

Not sure about the 8P A3s, but if you are lowering the 8L, you do need adjustable tie bars otherwise the camber will be out. Hence the reason I'm spending an extra £250 on adjustable tie bars when I stick new dampers and matched springs on my S3 in the next fortnight.
