How low is the sport suspension?

Hello

The dampers are tired on my 1998 A4 avant TDI.

People seem to be speaking highly of the Weitec kit from DPM which lowers the car 30mm.

The trouble is my car has the factory sport suspension ( 1BE ) so I don't know how low it is already and much lower a kit with a 30mm drop will make it. I don't want to go much lower than it is now.

Does anybody know how low the factory sport suspension is over standard?

The factory sport kit is about 15mm lower then the SE.

So if I fit the Weitec 30mm kit do you think the car will end up 15mm lower than it is now or will the current setup have sagged a little already as it is 10 years and 191,000 miles old?

It would have sagged a little and depending on weather you've changed your top mounts, they'll also be fairly compressed.

The Weitec kit is a great kit to go for.

One more question;

How will the stiffness of the Weitec kit compare to the sport suspension?

Compared to some springs on the market, the Weitec ones are that much of an increase in stiffness as they are actually designed for everyday use and driving and so try to come most of the comfort.
