wheels help please.........

hi ive onlky just signed up so excuse the silly questions youll probably get from me untill i find my feet in the audi world
im looking at getting some new wheels for my1998 (B5) audi a4 2.8 quattro ive seen these on ebay and wondered if they would fit they a4, they came of a s3?
also what tyre size should be ok oin the a4

I don't think they will fit, because they are from an S3. A3/S3 and A4/S4 models have different bolt patterns. You need to look for a set that have come from an A4, A6 or A8.

Yeah A3's and TT's and golfs use a 5x100 stud pattern, A4's A6's A8's use 5x112 i believe or was it 110? anyway larger so won't fit.

The other one to check is the "ET" number - my basic understanding is that this is the distance the sit off the wheel hub.

My A4 alloys have an ET45 rating.

Can somebody else help by giving a better explanation!?
