Uniroyal is back with a new rain tyre with strong characteristics.
On its arrival we were able to try the new Summer tyre.

Last Autumn, we were invited to Valencia in Spain to test the new Rainsport 3. We met with Uniroyal at the city aquarium, in the presence of sharks. Crazy, right ? Not so much, taking into consideration that the new tyre is made from shark skin. Shark Skin Technology (SST) participates in a better flow of water while limiting the flow disturbances. For those who remember, similar technology was used for Speedo swimsuits. However, this technology could not be certified because they gave too much advantage to swimmers who wore them.
On the Valencia circuit track, the tyre has proved accurate and efficient on dry ground despite a meandering path. If these performances on dry ground show a safe and considerate tyre, we were certainly waiting to try the Rainsport 3 on wet ground. And clearly we were not disappointed. Uniroyal RainSport 3 excels on wet roads without worry by removing large quantities of water, keeping a reassuring stability.
In the end, the newest range of Uniroyal's Rainsport has left a good impression and clearly positions itself as a good summer tyre for sporty character. The tyre's dimension level has a wide coverage with no less than 106 different sizes ranging from 14 to 21 inches.
