would 18x8" wheels with a 45mm offset and fitted with 225/40x18 tyres fit my facelift "X"Reg avant, it's dropped 30mm ATM, i have a car show (modified nationals) in 10days and want a set of 18's.

Yes mate, they will be plug and play ! Hers's mine on rs4 alloys on eibach pro springs. Rears are ET45 the fronts are ET35 to clear the big brakes... Mine's a quattro as well which has less room at the back.

ideal, so just to confirm, before ordering tomoz (thurs)
you have a quattro running 18x8 and fitted with 225/40x18 tyres.
