The older units use to rust within a few months. If they still use the grub screw arrangement to hold the adjustment screws then I would avoid them, or lubricate them more often.
Also many units required refurbishing after approx a year.
Check to see if they've modified the design since.

I would go H & R if i was you, quality design and made from high grade stainless, try them i will be in a couple off months dubaudi.com swear by them, plus the can go up to a 2.2inch drop with out much compromise on comfort
