Thread: b5 A4 Brake bulb warning symbol+beep driving me nuts!

The 'brake bulb out' orange warning symbol and also high pitched beep have started coming on and off all the time, yet all 3 brake lights work.

Anyone know why this is happening, or how to disconnect the sensor(?)

change the bulbs,i had this with one bulb the filament had broke but kept conecting and disconecting over bumps changed the bulbs and all is now well

Changed the brake bulbs for good quality Bosch ones. The beeping has stopped (after a while), but still intermittently get the orange symbol up (that I can live with..) No idea how to sort it properly. Someone said replace the brake light switch under the dash?
