i want to put in a temp sensor to monitor temp of air going into the engine

i have such an instrument with a guage , but i don't know where to fit it on the 2.7t so it takes the temp of the intercooled air going into the engine

could use some techie advice on this

Apart from wondering why you want to do this the car already does this for you and makes some compensation to get optimum performance.

The car alsready holds real-time data for this type of stuff

i am aware of that. it was to help use an intercooler spray kit more effectively, as you may notice in warmer weather with your own car it is slower on pick up, i find this annoying especially around the twisty roads locally
