Massive Paint Chip - Normal Method?

I took a ****** great chip out of my paintwork yesterday with the bike, very annoying.

As regards fixing it, would I just use a chip repair kit as per smaller chips, or is something else needed?

If chip repair kit is OK, which one would any of you recommend?

And where can I find the exact paint code?
Its a black '04 B6 (53 plate) A4 avant.
