Hi,

I just took my drivers mirror off. A quite straight forward process. Can I get it back on again! There was a lump of foam between the car and mirror and the only way to get it back on was to miss this out. There is now a lot of wind noise obviously the lump of foam stopped that. There must be an easier way to get the mirror back on?? anyone?:keule:

I just did this myself !

How hard was it to get the electric cable out...... I thought at one point I was going to have to take the inner door shell apart just to get it out.

I struggled with the foam too, in the end, I had to take the lower glass rubber off, and also pull back the upper door rubber, fit the mirror, putting the rubber seals back as you do it. I needed an extra pair of hands when doing it as it wasn't easy to figure out. I thought i'd got the wrong mirror at some point as the locating bullets seemed to be in the wrong place !
