What part is it as it is possible, just gotta find a silver matt which isn't a base coat (i'e needs laquer applying as top coat)
You could possible get away with just spraying base coat but depends on the application as this is not advisable as it leaves an unsealed finish which can easily get scratched and rub off potentially.
