how to request swap transponder in 3 button remote

My 3 button remote key has a snapped key blade, so I want to:

1. swap the top end with a new blank flip and blade section
2. swap the transponder to the new front section

I can separate the key ok but can't for the life of me work out how to open the front section of the key (that includes the flip blade) so I can access the transponder to swap it to the new one

They are sealed in the top part with glue, the actual transponder is also glued into place & as its a glass capsule you have to be so ****** careful you dont break when taking the glue of, you would need a dremel to take it out that carefully, trust me its not easy, I did 1 then 2nd one broke, typical huh.

On the rear there is an Audi chrome small badge, under that there is a screw that allows you to seperate the top but, but as above, it might also be glued so be careful.

i figured the screw under the logo from another site, could prise the halves apart a touch but it is firmly glued. Looking at it now I only need to swap the full key blade. I will have another go when I am feeling braver!

I did wonder why you didnt just swap the blade TBH but glad you resolved now.
