Hi!

I did a search for this but drew a blank.

Basically I need to get to one of the rear parking sensors on my wifes A4 B7. Every now and again, the parking sensor warning beep goes off to say that it is faulty (long beep, flashing green light on the front sensor button and then no sensors working), and Vag-Com reports:-

01546 - Sensor for Parking Aid; Rear Mid-Left (G204)
009 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent

I think the rear mid-left sensor just needs a bit of a clean and de-gunk as if I get out and gently tap the plastic around the sensor once, it springs into life.

Do I need to remove the bumper? Or is there a better way? THANKS!

Sussed it here:- http://www.a4mods.com/index.php?page=webcontent/pages/bumperremoval.html

Turns out the sensor is knackered as compressing it (even by hand) makes it fail - so sliding it into the tight spot where it lives in the bumper also makes it fail.

Anyone know if you can buy just 1 sensor from a stealer? Mines 7H0 919 275A. Would it come colour coded or do they need paying to do that too?! :sadlike:
