I have an Audi A3 (52 plate) 1.9tdi (130)

It has just been in for a service, and they said the clutch & flywheel need replacing...!!

the parts & labour costs I have been quoted are ridiculously expensive!!
the flywheel is the killer....!!

>>>

does anyone know where I can get hold of the parts cheap & also who would be able to fit them (properly) at a resonable price??

also ...is it worth paying extra to get an uprated clutch, as may get the car remapped sometime??

...any thoughts???

...ideas???

cheers

when i had my fabia vrs 1.9tdi i got it remapped to 186bhp @320lb/ft

i was told to take it easy as the standard clutch might struggle with the extra torque.
To replace the clutch, reskim (i think) the dualmass flywheel i was quoted around £700

you could try german, sweedish, french or eurocarparts for the parts and get an audi specialist to fit them?

i'd check to see if yours was covered under a recall - try Audi.
