Hello, i have a question about my 1989 Audi 200 turbo quattro (manual).
The battery won't stay charged for some reason. This problem i first noticed when i replaced all the fuses with the correct ones and filled in the empty slots. I think this certain fuse was out for this reason from the previous owner but i don't remember which empty one i filled.
I have recently installed a new alternator and battery. I also have noticed that when the battery is charged long enough for me to take a look at it i hear a quiet motor running and it is not the fan. I have always had to rev it up after starting it just to get the volts at the normal level.
Of course, i only hear it when the car is off. I believe this may be what is running the battery down but i am just guessing on all of this.
Does anyone happen to have any idea what could be causing this and how i may fix it?
