FUSE BLOWING - DONT KNOW WHY!!

The Reverse light fuse keeps blowing on my 2000 Wreg S3
This also does the speedo
It doesn't blow straight away, but just after a few seconds of driving, its fine when the car is just idling.
Tried taking the rear lights out and checking for water but its all good in the back.
It only started to happen after ive had the steering rack replaced

Any ideas anyone???

When the rack was fitted it's possible the wire from the reverse light switch has beed trapped against the body of the car or even nipped in the rack's mounting points! I'd take it back and ask them to have a look!!

sorted it today but thanks anyway

It was the wires going to the oil sensor on the sump, had been caught between the rack and something else and cut the wires so i replaced them with new ones
