Is it possible to swap an A4 engine w/ an S4 engine????

I have an Audi A4 2.8 quattro, and I am thinking about swapping the 2.8 out for a 2.7t s4 engine.. IS THIS POSSIBLE w/ out too much money spent i.e.-less exspensive than buying an S4?

big job.engine mountings,gearbox mountings, engine management plus harness.do you have a manual gearbox? or tiptronic?

yea it's a 5 speed, sport suspension, i figured since 2.8 is gunna be about the same size as the 2.7t, i'm guessing and hoping i'd have to get a 6 speed trans which i would want anyway

Buy a S4 you will never have 100% going down that route
