AVCR boost controllers are more hassle than they are worth.

Depends if you use them correctly.

I am looking at fitting one to my 2.5 TDI mainly for monitoring boost.

FWD cars benefit as you can program boost in each gear so minimises wheel spins. If you have that much power to play with.

My mate has one on his pulsar and it is the ******.4wd also benefits from different boost pressures.

A few mates have them fitted and they are great if setup correctly.

Wanting to fit one to my Audi but i have been told it might be hard getting wiring diagrams so i can get all functions working. Speed signal, revs etc.

I have one fitted to my S3 and it's great. I haven't got the speed signal (probably the most important to get the thing fully working), but do have the rev's and boost. If you find out how to get the speed working let me know.

It's set to run at 1.45bar, 1.3bar, or 0.9bar (settings off) so it's like having switchable mapping.
