A4 1.8T Quattro (163BHP)
hi everyone,
I have a 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro
I am in the process of changing my boring grey leather and grey interior plastics to black leather and black plastics.
At first, everything looked well, but as the end of the conversion drew closer, more problems occured.
The biggest problem of all is the rear seats - my original interior had fixed seats with a metal plate behind the seat fixed in the boot. The new interior has split folding rear seats and do not bolt straight in. I have been told I may have to remove the back metal plate and weld the fixtures on for the back seat to fix into, but i thought this may damage the chassis, so could anyone help?
next problem is wiring/electrics.... I had winding windows before and now the new interior has electrics. I have the wiring looms and electric motors, should this be a hard task?
finally, the new interior has heated front seats, if i grab the correct wiring and the correct air con unit, will it be a simple job?
