a4 dash comp on dials

hi, i have a problem with my computer screen between my dials. tells mpg/outside temp/ cd track, when the car heats up the screen starts to fade mainly from the top down, but on a cold day before i start the car its working perfectly. is it a comon fault thats easy to fix as it is starting to annoy me? :angrymod:
 
very common fault and the only way you can fix it is by getting a new lcd screen. A few hundred pounds i think. One problem that you have to put up with.

It is annoying i know what you mean.

What is the front splitter you had on your car before the s4 front bumper? i'm looking to do my bodywork next.
 
found an s4 front bumper on ebay today for about 200 "buy it now" if that interests u the guy said it has grilles and fogs seems a good price
 
No longer trust ebay ha ha, would be tempted if i could get one privately.
