how do they work?

mines grown a nice untinted bubble in it, so im assuming the tint it some kind of lcd film. Do you think its fixable or is now the time to cry at forking out £300~ for a new one?

i tured looking in the haynes for the fuse (to check its not that) and i cant find it in there

got same issue.. it is not oil is it water.. the seal on the window leaks and the alloy mount for the mirror doubles as a fantastic funnel and directs the water into the mirror box...

Out of curiosity do you have a sunroof??... I got Audi to quote £126 for a new mirror,,, may have a go at breaking mine open.. anyone else tried this?

I think its an LCD film but I wouldn't know if its fixable
