noisy fan

Heard a ticking noise when the electric fan came on. On opening the bonnet it appears that the plastic tube(not mechanically minded) which should be attached to the front grill was hanging down rubbing on the fan. As this car was bought from the dealer does anybody know why they would have taken the screws out and not replaced them. What were they doing in the 1st place? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The plastic tube is the tube which goes to the air filter.

Take the car back to the Dealer and tell them to fix straight away as this fault should of been picked up at service or caused by someone taking out screws when servicing......If you get cable ties to hold it up for the time been...until you go to dealers..save it getting damaged

Taking it in to the stealer on monday,will tell them then. Seems to sit ok on the grill. Cheers
