Clutch adjustment

Does anyone know if this can be done? The clutch on my car bites when the pedal is quite high up. It has been like this since i got it and was wondering if there is anyway of adjusting it like in the older cabled cars???

Dont have any clutch slip, the 'bite' has always been where it is and i have done 40k in my car since owning it.

From what I understand, many Audis do tend to have a rather high biting point on the clutch;my A4 does and to be honest my previous Audi (a '94 80 TDi) was exactly the same.......
As both the 80 and A4 have a hydraulically-operated clutch then I've always assumed adjustment wasn't possible...

Nessy is correct, no adjustment. It's just something we all have to get used to sadly
