Hi all thought I'd share this as iv made use of it over past years, very helpful for trying to find parts and part numbers, a website called partsbase.org basically select make model and so on, end up with an explodes diagram with a table showing part numbers, exactly the same type software as used in many main dealerships, not jut a vag specific site, hope this helps someone out!
