8E Audi A4 Distance computer coding

Hi

Have a mate that has a 2007 A4 8E that he has installed the multi function wiper stalk onto to get the miles and all the distance related stuff on the clocks.

I tried to code it today through Steering Wheel > Adaption and making sure board computer and Cruise control function were enabled but the stalk still didnt work.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get it working?

Is there something to alter in the Instruments section to tell the cluster it has a computer etc?

may possibly have something to do with the comfort module
if this isnt able to be adapted he may have to buy one which is allready enabled
similar problem on some s4,s which didnt come with cruise control

02021 originally changed to 02041 with the board computer and cruise.
