Removing wire from harness

I need some help, I'm looking to remove my Audi iPod setup from my old a3 and fit it in the s3 but I can't seem to remove the wires from the wiring harness for the radio. Are they removable once fitted or would I just be better buying a new cable for the iPod unit.

I would just buy another cable mate......no point damaging anything else whilst your trying to extract the old cable. You enjoying the S3???

Absolutely lovin it wish I had bought the S3 instead of the 3.2v6. Still got a few things needing done but nothing major like the v6 is needing.
