Auto dimming rear view wiring...

I assumed (the mother of all F£$%^&*) that the wiring on the dimming mirror would be simply 2-3 wires. Nope there are 6.

Mirror has no compass that im aware of (radio never worked on the a6 to check).

Which wires need to go where to get the auto dimming working correctly?

Ill rip the whole loom out i guess and figure it out, just hoping somebody can explain in laymans terms what to do!

you do only need 2.

The rest are for heating and connecting to the auto dimming sides.

This is how I did mine.

1 Positive - Illumination.
2 Ground - As it says
3 Rear Heated Screen. Never used.
4 Side Dimming Mirrors. Waiting for glass.
5 Side Dimming Mirrors. Waiting for glass.
6 Interior lights. Never used.
