Thread: ElsaWin

Hi guys, Can anyone give me tips on how to use Elsawin? I have version 3.81

I am trying to see how the dimming rear view mirror and rain sensor connects back to the Central electronic module and what pins it uses. I'm in the middle of the retro fit for auto lights and rain sensor.. have all the bits already now just need to connect it up.
I have no idea which menu to look in for this kind of query.

I can have a look when I get home but I'm not expert myself. I just tend to click around until I find the section I want

I have been clicking around Elsa and i think i have figured out how to generally use it, although confusing as hell.

So i am looking at the Current Flow diagrams and have searched for mirror and then gone into the 'anti-dazzle mirror section'. I have a guide as what pins go where from the plugs from another thread here on the forum and it looks like Elsa agrees with that guide.

now only problem is that the wires i have are from Kufatec and so are all wrapped up with German writing on the ends, not sure what wire is what without opening up all the wires and manually confirming it.
