Thread: Replacing steering control module.

Hi, I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find a clear answer to this.

I'm going to retrofit cruise control to my A3, and therefore have to replace my steering control module. What I wonder is what I have to do when replacing the control module. Can I just take the old one out, and put the new one in, and it then works as my old one, or do I have to do something in VCDS before and after?

Needs coding mate end of, cant just swap & hoorah as steering angle sensor & others needs sorting, assuming you have vcds?
