If i leave my tt 1.8 t 180hp stock and just replace the turbo and exhaust manifold to a Garrett T3 super 60 turbo will the vehicle be considerably faster? Its on ebay for around 700 bucks...seems like a cheap trick to a 40-50HP increase. Is that possible? Thanks

Its funny that when they sell this stuff on ebay there is no mention of all the extras that are needed to get an aftermarket turbo to work.

mtm dont bother with their big turbo upgrade - seems that in real life it doesnt make much difference - perhaps on the track or in hotter climates maybe...
Spoke to Paul at MTM a while back regarding this - he thought they did one but didn't seem to think it was very worthwhile for the setup I had at the time (K04 and remap).
