Thread: The best way to replace PS fluid?

My power steering seems to get heavier the warmer the engine gets. As I had to go to the dealer anyway, I bought a couple bottles of the recommended fluid.

My question is, what's the best technique of draining the fluid from the system? One way (the easiest?) is to use a turkey baster to get all the fluid out of the reservoir , top up to max and repeat a couple times untill the old fluid has just about diluted away.

Was just wondering what other ways there are.?

presumably the only otherway is to disassemble the rack ?
or possibly undo the connections to the ps cooler and steer a bit to pump it out?
