Thread: Tyre Pressures for 225/40/18 tyres

Hi guys, maybe a stupid questions but I've just put 18" RS6 replica's with 225/40/18 tyres and im wondering what pressure I should be pumping them up to?

i use 38psi all round on a 06 3.2 depends what car 2 wheel or four wheel drive

Cheers mate, it's a 2004 2.0TDI (2 wheel drive). So I guess around 38PSI will be fine (!?)

Anybody know what the reccomendation is for a 2002 BAM S3 running the same wheels is please?

I'm running these exact tyres on my TDI Quattro and I'm currently on about 28psi and they're rock hard!?

Thats much too low for a Quattro

i run 38 front and 35 rear (A3 3.2 Q)

it should say on the fuel cap what pressure to run in what conditions with a range of tyre sizes
