Hi all,
I have 06 A3 with bose stereo i went to halfords to get an ipod lead /adapter fitted but they said that only audi can do it due to stereo and speaker being amplified is this true? and are there any other suggestions?? or alternatives.

Mine is the USB stick one. It pretends to be a CD changer, plus I have the Bluetooth kit and can stream audio and have handsfree from the iPhone as well. Apparently the iPod ones work OK too, and you have some control of the iPod from the HU controls.
