I want to refurb my garage about 16' x 16' with stone walls that absorb allot of light , I would prefer super white and will be mounting directly to the beams . Any recommendations please .

you can never have too much light in a garage. a top tip would be to position the lights so they are not above the car, but along the sides as most of the time you would probably be working in the wheel arch. think about where you will be standing so as you are not working in your own shadow all the time.

it'll also help if you can paint the walls gloss white to help reflect the light. if you cant then a couple of moveable sheets of wood painted can do the job.

requirding the lights. i'd recommend 5ft twin vapor proofs, especially if you intend to be doing any spraying.

At the moment I have 9 conventional 100 bulbs ( 3 down the middle & 3 down each side ) what I really want is lighting like you see in Audi showrooms !
