Hia ll, i am looking to get me a private plate, and wondered if someone could tell me what i am to do with my tax and MOT as obviously none of them will match the new reg. Any help would be appreciated.

I took the certificate for private plate, tax disk, vehicle reg form etc down to local DVLA office.
They print off a new tax disc with the new reg and take your old tax disk from you.
Also take your vehicle reg form and post you a new one. Did it ages ago so cant remember about MOT certificate but it wont matter much anyway as your new vehicle reg form will show the change.

Thanks, i did try looking on the DVLA site and found it as usuful as an ashtray on a motorbike.
