To warn you all that i'm thinking of coming back to Audi ownership :happy:

I sold my Audi A4 1.8TQS last year and over a year and three cars later I do miss it especially the grip seeing as though it rains all the time!

This time would be after an A3 1.8TQS as I would like a late 02 plate if possible

Ha, I forgot about my sig, it is very true but I dont have a car at the mo, had a Civic VTI again, then a Prelude VTI which was awesome but had to go and then a sensible boring Accord which I sold a month ago

I'm on foot patrol whilst I save up, I cant decide between a Civic Type-R, Corolla T-Sport or Audi A3 which I like to think will be about £500 - £1000 cheaper than the others which means i'll get it sooner

Is the quattro system on the A3 TQS the same as the A4 TQS? I read it was different
 
No it's not the same, it's part time 4WD. It cuts in as and when needed. The A3 TQS handles well due to it's indepenent rear suspension.

The A4 TQS is true permanent 4wd, on all the time whether you like it or not.

Both weigh about the same too tbh around 1500KGs and only 180BHP
 
Thanks, that would be Haldex then?

Does that mean it would be better on fuel?
