Rowing Machines

Can anyone recommend any decent rowing machines that are cheap, effective and doesn't use a lot of space.

Seen a few but the majority seem to be quite expensive, seen one that seems ok but the tension can't be adjusted.

Best bet is to Google a good make and get one 2nd hand on the bay or local paper. There's always fitness equipment going cheap.....

Had a look at a few and this seems to be the best value for money so far, even though it's refurbished there is a 12 month gurantee on it.

Concept2 all the way. That's what all the decent gyms use.

Not the cheapest, but by far the best. Always a few on eBay...

I think the Concept2 is the one I used a few yeas ago when I was at the gym. I'm just looking for something compact and not too expensive so I can put it on my room.

Think I'll be ordering that York one then.

If you can stretch to £700 get a 2nd hand concept2 model C. They don't really depreciate. Nothing else really feels like rowing.

I have a weider powerglide sat here doing nothing, the wife wanted it a few years back used it twice then stopped using it its like a x shaped trainer you push with your feet and pull with your arms if that makes sence. Needs shifting so you could try that for a bit of beer money
