Can anyone recommend any decent rowing machines that are cheap, effective and doesn't use a lot of space.

Seen a few but the majority seem to be quite expensive, seen one that seems ok but the tension can't be adjusted.

Best bet is to Google a good make and get one 2nd hand on the bay or local paper. There's always fitness equipment going cheap.....

Concept2 all the way. That's what all the decent gyms use.

Not the cheapest, but by far the best. Always a few on eBay...

Cheers,

I think the Concept2 is the one I used a few yeas ago when I was at the gym. I'm just looking for something compact and not too expensive so I can put it on my room.

Think I'll be ordering that York one then.

If you can stretch to £700 get a 2nd hand concept2 model C. They don't really depreciate. Nothing else really feels like rowing.

I have a weider powerglide sat here doing nothing, the wife wanted it a few years back used it twice then stopped using it :( its like a x shaped trainer you push with your feet and pull with your arms if that makes sence. Needs shifting so you could try that for a bit of beer money
