downlights white or chrome opinons please

hi all i have decided to change all the downlighters in my kitchen, i have narrowed in down to these 2

its a white ceiling i will be having brushed chrome sockets, initally i was thinking white downlights as they will blend in with the ceiling however talking to the guys at work some say go for brushed chrome.

just wanted your thoughts please.

We have white downlights to match the ceiling colour, the sockets and appliances are brushed steel (or similar) - looks pretty good IMO - brushed chrome lights would look ok too though I reckon :thumbsup:

ive got a white celing and i went for the brushed chrome and i also have the brushed chrome sockets etc.

i did try a white one in the celing but it looked cheap and nasty when it was in place and if the ring is going to e on display then you may as well make it look good

for downlights I normally fit satin nickel not as bling as chrome but look good, I normally use city electrical, you can get a discount if you ask there. Aurora fittings also
