What Can I Get 4 My Money?

Hi,

This is my first post, so hi all!

I have always had vectra gsi's before, im looking to get a A3 1.8t, pref something that already been had a remap, around 98/99, I have approx £2800 to spend.

Am I in the right sort of price region for what I am after?

I think you could get quite a lot for your budget under the current climate. Remaps don't really add value to a car, so it's good for both you and the seller, that you don't mind a car that's been remapped already.

Happy Hunting, and have a browse through the Pistonheads Classifieds to get a feel for price... they are more realistic than trader prices in my opinion.

out of curiosity would people say this car was over priced?

I know its ended now, but I thought it was overpriced.

I'd say it was reasonably priced, £3k sounds about right considering the condition. Although that isn't/wasn't a standard exhaust system on it which I didn't see noted in the advert. Always makes me weary, along with badly written adverts. If you can't write english then get a mate that can to do it for you!

as Neileybabs stated above, i think it's overpirced by £300, I wouldn't pay more than 3000 for it which would still be high imo.
