    What TV series to watch??

    Working abroad soon so I need to load up my laptop.

    Currently have The Wire, The Shield, 24, Prison Break, Lost, Heroes, Family Guy, Ross Kemp on Gangs, Dexter.

    Any more recommendations of stuff thats good to watch? (Primarily american TV drama please)

    I quite like the Smallville series, not too sure if it's your thing though?

    And anything Startrek.

    Top Gear would go with me - I think some of the series can be bought on DVD, and I've got "Top Gear: The Challenges" which is a laugh.

    I work abroad. I usually fill my laptop up with bbc documentaries and films. Other than the ones you've mentioned, you could add 24 to the list. It's very predictable stuff, but 6 series worth will kill some time.

    Other than that, get some language software (depending on where you will be working).

    Take some books for flights. Personally i can never sleep on those things.
