Snetterton 2cv 24hr race

Right i just done a big write up of the race but then my laptop decided to turn itself off so i'm not gonna bother again! That is the most annoying thing in the world..the screen nearly had my fist through it!

We qualified 16th out of 32. Race started 5pm saturday the 10th of augest. Got up to 7th place then the engine blew up at 1am (see pics below) Finally re-joined a few hours and an engine change later but had dropped down to 30th place. We made up 2 places in the morning but were too far back to catch any one else so we ended up finishing in 28th place... but still.... at least we made it!

They use lightened race valves which to our expense we discovered were too weak, they just split and went through the piston..... I'm no mechanic but thats what i was told!!
