Having a bit of a whizz round seeing as the old kitchen is cluttering up the garage waiting for me to go to the tip.

I found this lurking at the back

What strange stuff have you got in your garages?

Not strange, but I know I have an JDM Integra Type R DC2 bootlid with no wiper in my garage, I sold it on fleabay complete for a nice sum for a friend, but the guy turned up is a tiny car and couldn't transport it away, he ended up just taking the boot spoiler off and still paid me the full amount after travelling 150miles+.

i have a set of genuine porsche 911 gt2 alloys in superb condition in mine, which i want to sell £700.

A road bike, a mountain bike, lots of oily bits, >50 tins of paint, a knitting machine(?!?!) and a 6ft freezer full of home grown veg.
Oh and from tonight a Thunder Ace:jump:

Cheers,

2 sets of alloys.... 1 mk2 golf wing... the spare alloy from the mk2, a pogo stick.... a mondeo loom... a loads of bits of dash / trim / windows off of various cars!!

think the pogo stick wins it!!

Just to add I didn't get the sign from a drunken night out. I wok for the local authority as a sign and lighting engineer. That sign just ended up in the boot of my car and after a week I got fed up so slung it in my garage.

Most unusual for where I live but my car in the garage, along with various tools and my mountian bikes.

Keep getting asked by the neighbours how I managed to fit the car + bikes etc in, bored of saying well its the same size of yours, so just reply well I just threw all the crap out that I no longer need !

Richard

I've got in my single garage:
Hanging from the roof, two windsurfers, masts and 3 sails; 4 bikes (1 mountain, 2 road, 1 timetrial); a set of ladders. On the floor I've got another 2 bikes (road plus a folding bike); my kit car; a tumble drier & 4 kitchen cupboards. Plus all the usual pots of paint, tools etc. All in all a bit of a squeeze.

My neighbours thought I was strange when I moved in as the first room I sorted out was the garage!

AAh it's always good to see how much stuff you can get in a single garage eh :)

I don't have a garage, but my shed is home to a variety of car bits and pieces; headlights and taillights from a 1989 VW Polo, Ford Escort Mk3 front and rear fog switches, Ford Orion Mk2 left-hand track control arm, a seized Mk2 Golf GTI low-tone horn ... and loads of other rubbish. I just can't bring myself to throw it away!

There's a climbing wall in mine.

No, really, there is.

my garage has 2 mountain bikes a roadbike, rowing machine, 300kg of weights, weight bench and stands, shower , 32 inch lcd and a sauna on the end to keep me warm, best room in the house................................

I had a full mk4 Polo interior but its all been scrapped. Slowly cleaning it out so that I can paint the floor!

Do still have a table tennis table in it. Want rid of that.

Kevlar Body armour and helmet, 20 Bottles of Black Tower (2005 Vintage) and a computer, same as the one that Stephen Hawkins used in the early 90's on that BT advert, at time of purchase it cost a whopping £10000 to build, people from all round the world would come and meet my grandfather to see him use it (he was disabled after a stroke, was only able to move his head)

Proud of people like you Unkle, thanks

Thanks, I wasnt in the Army though, I was a civilian attached to a TA unit, started up out there doing convoys and ended up running the only beer warehouse in Iraq, Ive never been so f*cking popular in all my life!

Got my medal for it last week, was well chuffed.

still doing the extra yard cheers

Nothing unusual in mine, Claire's old B-class still waiting for someone to buy it, car cleaning stuff, tool carts, some wine. Lot's of Sam's toys - electric quad, electric car etc above ground pool, spare set of rims for my BM, punch bag and thats about it.
