driving through portbury lane in portbury yesterday afternoon,

as i came around the bend a farmer came out of a field with his forks out to far and to low and cut my van up...

Jesus christ, lucky escape there I think! Although in fairness box vans like that are made from only slightly thicker metal than used to make tin foil so they do shred badly if caught on something!
Did you get a chance to syphon his diesel out of his tank as I hear thats getting popular these days!

wow, stuff that, my mate nearly came a cropper the same way on his r1, farmer drove out field , forks a bit lower, he was doing 80, he pulled on the brakes and made it along the edge of the road, through the long grass, brushing a dyke at 40.
had an old guy last nite at traffic lights, rolling back towards me, blasted the horn, that aroused him, oldies, sometimes they look half asleep.........
