Buying Private

Hello all,

Anyone know why the AA car data check is £25, and the RAC one is a fiver? Why the big differance?

Looking at a car tomorrow, never bought private before. The car is registered to his company, does this make any differance?

No idea what the price difference is all about, I know the RAC own HPI & you get redirected to an HPI site when you use it. Probably something to do with the RAC offering the deal as a loss leader offer to show you all the other wonderful RAC products you can pay lots of money for!

I used the RAC search twice recently when buying the households current 2 cars, very simple to use, quick & all the important information is given so they dont skimp out! Wouldnt use anyone else to do a vehicle check to be honest, you get the same info for lots more cash so why bother!!
