    Cut back blades on Turbo..

    Has anyone done this on there aftermarket turbos?

    The ihi's & GT28 turbo housing looked pretty small at inters so i doubt they needed this, but has anyone done this or thought about doing it... if so does it make a noticable difference on t/lag and is the drawback worth it?

    Dummi - i didnt understand your post

    lockie - apparently on big turbine turbos if you slightly cut the blades back you get less turbo lag as it spins up faster, but im guessing its only for BIG turbos, and not many people on here have them.

    With that you obviously have the draw back of not running full potential but the power comes in alot sooner which is goooood.

    I was wondering if anyone has tried it thats all..

    lol holy ****. thats a big turbo.. and i havnt got a big turbo, i was just wondering if anyone has done it and if it works.
