Ipod docking station

Hi guys this week i went to buy a docking station,I got a bit tired of changing cd's all the time.so i decide to buy one.Now the question is if the ipod is left permanently on the docking station,will it destory the battery or it would be ok.Thank Guys

should be ok... the battery works the same way as your cellphone battery... charge often, dont let run dry. I left my 3G pod in the dock all the time and its all good.
