Already seen this posted on Scoobynet !, - When is a Bently Continental GT a sports car !! Corvette and Viper only classed as sports cars in the Sates.
More likely combination of people wish list if they win the lottery !

And I'm not even going to comment about the 2008 bit !

Please god tell me you're joking... I find my Ann Widdicombe more attractive than that!

And the 2008 bit is not worth rising to...

I think it's fair to say this list has errors in it.

You're a funny chap if you think Ann Widdicombe is attractive in anyway?

and. .. it's a little more to do with ability? not how pretty it is.. if so ferrari would win over and over.

    Here we go again...
Life through Rosso Corsa tinted spectacles, according to Sam-K.

Can you see nothing else but prancing horses?

As cars go, the 430 is not classically pretty.
Hell, as posh Fiats go, its not classically pretty.

The List is titled Top 13 Hottest Cars.

Not Top 13 Most Able Cars.

How else would you define Hot if not by looks?

When I call Keira Knightley "Hot" I am in no way think of her ability to calculate algebraic equaions. But she would definately appear high up the list of 'Hot' women.

    Well if that's the criteria...
How the hell do they end up in that order?

The maserati just doesnt excite me at all. I agree that as a piece of machinery it is probably exquisite but it just doesnt do anything for me.

And my logic for the exige is that on my road a guy has one in black and white and whenever it drives past me I cant help but stare at it. It just stands out amongst other cars. A GT2 doesn't, unless you knew what you were looking at.

I know what you mean, i reckon most people stare at an exige because

    1. They're fairly rare

    2. They look mean mean mean

    3. God they're ugly!

Its all personal opinion tho at the end of the day

I like the new GT2 with the decals on it reminds me of one of the classic 911's - possibly a '72 something or other

    Oh lordy...
I'd not put either of the pointless and largely irrelevant things in 1st and 2nd position up there...
The American things wouldn't be that high up either..
And the GTR at 13th? Surely not!

Surely you're not suggesting that the Lambo shouldn't be number 1??

It may be pointless but so is Paris Hilton.

Come on then I feel that it is now your turn to sort out a list... show me how it should be done

    Yup, I am.
I think it's completely pointless as a sportscar...great as an engineering exercise but when will 'we' ever have the chance to even see one? Never mind get inside one...or buy one?

    Same goes for Ms Hilton...
In fact there's more chance of getting inside...no, I'll stop there.

Come on then I feel that it is now your turn to sort out a list... show me how it should be done
That would be my first draft of an order. Although, to be honest...outwith the top 6, I'd not thank you for any of them.

    12. Audi TT
    11. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster

    2. Ferrari 430 Scuderia
    1. Porsche 911 GT2 (ahead of 2 only just...becuse it's more organic)

Please don't make me start thinking about getting inside Ms Hilton, it's too much for me to bear.

I agree with you that there are a number of cars which probably, had the list not already been generated, I wouldnt have included. (and as a question... why 'Top 13' what kind of odd number is that?)

But without feeling the need to repeat myself, we are basing this upon looks. You can't tell me that the GT2 looks better than a Reventon?

A GT2 is only in that list at all because of the fact we know what it can do? On that basis does Ellen Mcarthur become Hot?

However it's nice to see that we agree on the positions of some of the cars. The Aston sits a very respectable 3rd, which is good as it bloomin' gorgeous!

Eww if you were inside Miss hilton id suggest a trip to the doctor to have some scrapings taken from 'little H1 8enf' straight after!

There are some truly bizarre additions to that list, i.e the TT and continental GT

Only reason i didn't place the aston high up there is i dont think it looks too different to the car that was already released.

There is something very funny about the idea of having mini me being referred to by my car numberplate. That has really tickled me.

I agree with you that the Aston doesn't look that different, but as there was no other Aston up there I had to go with what I was given.

I'm still astounded at the response the Nissan is getting. It's a Nissan for Pete's sake. The same people who have been mass producing Micra's for little old ladies, where you can have "Wipe Clean incontinence seats" as an optional extra.

    And that is not Hot.

She doesn't put much effort in though, does she?

But without feeling the need to repeat myself, we are basing this upon looks. You can't tell me that the GT2 looks better than a Reventon?
On looks alone, I'd still have the GT2 in front.
I'm not keen on the Reventon...I prefer the looks of the Gallardo.

A GT2 is only in that list at all because of the fact we know what it can do?
I think that any maker who can take a 4wd supercar, bin the 4wd, 200 Kgs of weight, the majority of driver aids...then turn up the boost to make it more mental, deserves a place high up the list.
It's a scarey car for men with big kahoonas not ust big bank accounts.
Just pips the 430 because the 430 does more for you...the GT2 is purer.

However it's nice to see that we agree on the positions of some of the cars. The Aston sits a very respectable 3rd, which is good as it bloomin' gorgeous!
On looks...the DBS is soooo far ahead, it's just plain embarasing, in my view. It's stunning....and I would climb over Ms Hilton to get into that! (maybe not...)

A bit of badge snobbery sneaking in there?

    Who cares who makes it?
Who cares what badge is on it?
If it's that good...it could be a Kia, Proton, Hyundai or any other..and I'd still want to drive one.
I say a big 'well done' to Nissan for having the balls to build it.
Hopefully, it'll make Honda wake up and get the NSX replacement rolling...Toyota to get the Supra replacement rolling etc.

    The more the merrier...

Badge Snobbery... from me.... never, alright so there may be a bit, but even so I still don't think it's attractive. Good at what it does, maybe but not attractive.

There is no question that the GT2 is an awesome piece of kit, I just think it doesn't look exciting enough.

Maybe I'm wrong , maybe I should be taking into consideration what the car can do. But when I think of Hot I think of pure 'sex appeal'. I can see what your point of view is on the GT2 I really can.

However, I'm not conceding on the Reventon.

And I would clamber over Ms Hilton to get to that. Not jump over, you understand, clamber.

    Ohhhh Lottie! No!? Please No.

You've put the Corvette ahead of an Aston.

and the Exige is last... after the Nissan!

Ohhhh.... Why does nobody like the Exige as much as Me?? I feel like I may need therapy.

There is sort of a reverse snobbery that occurs now with buying a skoda.

I think that it could be quite liberating

I'll admit to a very smug feeling as you out accellerate more established 'hot Hatches' off roundabouts, leaving them in a cloud of black smoke...
Even more so when they spot the Skoda badge.

But if a great drivers car had a Proton badge on it...I'd drive it and judge it on it's own merits. Same with Kia, Dawoo, Hyundai etc...it's just unlikely they'll make something that interests!!

Yes, although it would take them a while to realise you had a skoda badge, as they would first of all need to stop the car, get out and clean all the black diesel grime off of the windscreen prior to continuing their journey.

But I must say the Skoda Octavia is a very smart car, you do get an awful lot of car for your money with them.

However, I think whoever designed the Roomster, wants their eyes testing. Incidentally, I auditioned for a role in the Roomster's Adverts. I didn't get it, my agent forgot to tell me that they needed me to be from the Czech Republ ic.

Alright then. I'm gonna do a list of my own. Based on appeal. be it ability or looks. or i just like it.

13.Dodge Viper SRT10 (because corners haven't been designed in the US yet)
    12. Chevrolet Corvette (nice head up display. thats it.)
11.Lotus Elise/Exige (chuckable, but too small for tall people)
10.Bentley Continental GT Speed (footballers car)
    9. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster ( sounds great, bit gay compared to the hard top)
    8.Audi R8 ( not very reliable. and i'd prefer a gallardo)
7.Lamborghini Reventon (would prefer an LP640 daily, looks cool though)
    6.Audi TT (in a 2.0T please)
    5.Maserati GranTurismo (an absolute stunner)
4.Aston Martin DBS (the sound makes me sex wee)
3.Nissan GT-R (looks great, and is mind blowingly good so i have heard.)
2.Porsche 911 GT2 ( Looks like every other porsche.. which is a shame. but has the ability to make up for it.)
1.Ferrari 430 Scuderia (because it's gorgeous and as quick as an enzo around their own test track)

..Awaits Ess threes mass quoting and tearing apart of this.

    Why?

Good order there...its got the Yank barges at the bottom and the pointless cars middle order...
The rest are so close, in my view, that it doesn't really matter.

If it were looks alone the order would be different again I'll wager.
Maybe DBS, 430, GT2..then who cares?

    haha..

Well i thought it was a decent order, though the top three are too similar it just comes down to personal opinion i reckon!

And, looks wise. i think that would be difficult, because people can't question ability, but everyone is going to have different points of views on looks..
