UK's families put on fraud alert

Don't know what all the fuss is about, anyone using their childs name or date of birth as a security password is a total knob and deserves to be ripped off. Even if they can use the data to access your account the banks will cover it anyway. Just another big hoohaaa about nothing.
Basically all the data held on those discs is public domain anyway if you're willing to do some digging.

I think the point that has been missed is the crap service by TNT who lost the discs.

I don't think that all of the banking information would be worth anything because anyone with kids is going to be skint anyway.

:)

The only bank info is your account number & sort code, so all anyone can do with it is pay money into your account - which I'm completely happy with.
