ive been to the hospital today for a 3 month follow up appointment after the op i had on my knee.
and although most of the problems seem to have been sorted, its still not 100% and is giving me some pain.
so after waiting in the waiting room for almost 3 hours as they were running 2 hours 50mins late, i get to see some sidekick doctor not my actually surgeon this time
so i explain my problems to him and this is what he suggested.
avoid walking - how the hell do i get around???
aviod kneeling down - my job requires this quite alot
avoid sitting in the same postition for to long or on soft furniture - so what i sit on the floor?
dont use stairs - how the hell do i get to bed? and was an excersise i was told to do by physio
rest leg in straight postition when in bed - see above!!!!!!!
dont cycle - which is my favourite pastime and someting the physio told me to do to strengthen the knee
and finally dont stand for to long - wtf ??????????
ive rung my doctors to explain and ask for a second opinion new appointment with someone who isnt stupid
good old nhs
