Can anyone tell me how long speeding ( SP30 )points stay on your license
before you can have them removed?

Thanks in advance

I've heard its less than 6 Brazilian years...

Its 3 years that they are included in the totting up system. Its actually 4 years that they have to stay on your licence and then it costs to have them removed!
Check this DVLA link out-http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/DriverLicensing/EndorsementsAndDisqualifications/DG_4022550

Thank you very helpfull..just one other quick question...i will be moving house
shortly so will have to send my license in anyway to have my new address
put on etc.do you no if i will still have to pay for the points being removed
because they could do this at the same time?

Thanks again

when i got my HGV licence through the post they had been removed free of charge

I moved house last year and my points were removed free of charge when I changed address.

Yup - you pay twice for points. Just move house every time they're up and it's free though - bargain.

do you think you could say you have moved house to say your parents house?
and then wait a few months and say you have moved again???????
that way you get it free????
